FOR LAMPBASE
1. Setup & Safety
Inspect: Check the body, wiring, and plug for damage before use; do not operate if defects are found.
Stabilize: Place on a flat, sturdy surface to prevent tipping.
Power Off: Always let the lamp cool completely before cleaning or maintenance.
2. Maintenance
Dusting: Use a soft, lint-free cloth or feather duster regularly.
Glass Care: Apply non-abrasive cleaner to a cloth first—never directly onto the lamp—to avoid contact with the metal frame or wiring.
Bulbs: Use only the specified wattage and base type (e.g., E12, E26).
FOR LAMPSHADE
Dust Removal: Utilize a delicate, micro-fiber cloth to gently wipe away surface debris and particles.
Optimal Positioning: Shield the shade from constant, direct sun exposure to prevent the textile colors from bleaching or dulling over time.
Spot Treatment: For minor marks, lightly moisten a fresh cloth with a mild detergent solution and carefully dab the affected area.
Material Protection: Avoid any forceful scrubbing or friction, as this may compromise the integrity of the velvet weave.
Complete Drying: Ensure the material has entirely air-dried before mounting the shade back onto your light fixture.
